Our highly trained technicians will show up, and to ease your mind- we keep our vans fully stocked with the most used and readily available parts, in hopes we can fix your furnace on the spot.
When our technicians arrive on site, we will not only look at what is causing the issue, but also your whole home comfort system. This allows us to take notes of other issues and precautions as well as notify you on maintenance tips to keep your equipment running at peak performance.
Our expert furnace repair technicians are proud to offer you some basic tips that you may experience when your furnace is not running. If you have gone down the list and find you are still running into trouble, do not hesitate- call us!
Step One: Ensure your thermostat is set correctly. The thermostat is what tells the furnace to kick on and off by the temperature set. Make sure this is set to the desired temperature and the heat setting is on, you never know if the button got bumped to off!
Step Two: Check your furnace switch. This switch is normally found near the furnace and looks like a normal light switch, sometimes a bit higher on the wall though. Since this can be easy to bumped, it may be possible it is in the off position rather than on.
Step Three: Changing the furnace filter. Expert furnace repair technicians run into this quite often. A dirty or blocked furnace filter does not allow the proper amount of air to pass though, thus automatically shutting off the furnace. It is important the filters are replaced and checked regularly.
Step Four: Check the circuit breaker on your panel board. Again, another control that may have been tripped for various reasons. If you notice this breaker is being tripped regularly, it may be wise to contact a technician to find out the root of the problem.
So remember, next time you are having furnace issues or are experiencing no heat, give the expert furnace repair technicians at Streamline Plumbing and Heating a call.
